Babel Kit es la interpretación del colectivo de arquitectos Encore heureux del mito de la torre infinita en cartón. Diseñada para los niños, esta cabaña es una máquina para la creación de historias. La historia de su génesis inspiró una multiplicidad de versiones, así como muchas variaciones a partir de una forma sencilla. La casa tiene una sola puerta, pero cuenta con setenta y siete diferentes ventanas situadas sobre una espiral ascendente que se abren y se cierran cuando se desee. Su geometría invita a los niños a jugar tanto en el interior como alrededor.
Las tres fases de montaje son muy sencillas: dar forma a los cuatro volúmenes doblando las tiras de cartón grandes; abrir las aberturas precortadas; montar después los diferentes elementos entrelazándoles entre sí mediante las muescas, empezando con la banda más grande de cartón y terminando con la más pequeña.

Babel Kit is our interpretation of the myth of the infinite tower in cardboard. Designed for children, this cabin is a machine for the creation of stories. The history of its genesis inspired a multiplicity of versions as well as many more variations from a single form. The cabin has only one door but comprises seventy seven different windows spiralling upwards to be opened and closed as desired. It’s an invitation for groups to play both inside and around.
The three assembly stages are very simple: give form to the four volumes by folding the large cardboard strips; open the precut openings; then assemble the elements together by interlocking the notches starting with the largest cardboard strip and ending with the smallest.
