La Escuela Jean Moulin,
construida en Bernay (Normandía) en 2012 por Prinvault Architectes sustituye a
una escuela destruida en un incendio provocado en 2009.
El proyecto cumple con
tres demandas del municipio: ajustar el tamaño de la escuela a las actuales
necesidades de escolarización locales, redefinir la relación existente con el
centro de familia existente y rejuvenecer la zona con un edificio
contemporáneo.
The Jean
Moulin School, built in Bernay (Normandy) in 2012 by Prinvault Architectes
(Paris) replaces a school destroyed in an arson attack in 2009. The project
satisfies three requests of the municipality: to adjust the size of
the school to the current local schooling needs, to redefine the
nature of the relation to the existing family center
and to rejuvenate the area with a contemporary building.

La Escuela Jean Moulin,
construida en Bernay (Normandía) en 2012 por Prinvault Architectes sustituye a
una escuela destruida en un incendio provocado en 2009.
El proyecto cumple con
tres demandas del municipio: ajustar el tamaño de la escuela a las actuales
necesidades de escolarización locales, redefinir la relación existente con el
centro de familia existente y rejuvenecer la zona con un edificio
contemporáneo.
Construido en un solo
nivel, el edificio se organiza en torno a un pasillo central con nichos
empotrados que dan cabida a bancos y crean diferentes espacios informales para
los niños.
Ventanas de varios tamaños ofrecen vistas diferentes del cielo o de las copas de los árboles.
El esqueleto del edificio
es una estructura de entramado de madera, el techo es vegetal y el sistema de calefacción
es a base de quemar madera.
El nuevo edificio ha
superado la traumática pérdida del anterior gracias a un revestimiento a base
de tiras de 1000 colores que coinciden con los del fuego: una foto digitalizada
reveló un espectro de 2,5% de negro, 2,5% de zinc - amarillo, 2,5% de oro - amarillo
, 2,5%, de marrón rojizo, 25% de naranja-rojo, 25% de burdeos y 40% de rojo
carmín ...
Una fórmula aleatoria de Excel se utilizó a continuación para generar
la distribución de las 1000 tiras de revestimiento en la fachada.
El lema fue por tanto: ¡Mejor
juego que llamas!

The project
satisfies three requests of the municipality: to adjust the size of
the school to the current local schooling needs, to redefine the
nature of the relation to the existing family center
and to rejuvenate the area with a contemporary building.
Built on a
single level, the building is organized around a central corridor with niches
recessed to accommodate benches and create various informal
spaces for children. Different sized windows frame multiple views of the
court, the sky or the treetops.
The
building skeleton is a timber frame structure, its roof is green and the
heating burns wood.
The new
building has hence overcome the traumatic loss with its range of 1000
colorful cladding strips that match the colors fire: a digitized
photo revealed a spectrum of 2.5% black, 2.5% zinc yellow, 2.5%
yellow gold, 2.5% red-brown, 25% orange-red, burgundy
25%, and 40% carmine red... A random formula Excel is then used to
generate the distribution of the 1000 strips the facade cladding component.
